Webhooks

Webhooks allow you to receive real-time notifications when wildfire events occur in your organization, eliminating the need for polling.

Overview​

Instead of repeatedly checking for new wildfire events, you can register a webhook URL and we'll send you a POST request whenever a new event is created or updated.

How it works​

  1. Register a webhook with a callback URL
  2. We notify you when wildfire events occur
  3. Verify the signature to ensure the request came from us
  4. Respond quickly within 5 seconds to acknowledge receipt

Security​

All webhook requests include an X-Webhook-Signature header containing an HMAC-SHA256 signature. You should validate this signature to ensure the webhook came from Breeze Technologies.
